Synthetic Waxes

Waxes manufactured by manipulated chemical reactions. Commonly used in Hot Melt Adhesives, Asphalt bitumen modification, Plastic additive, base material for emulsions, cosmetics, rubber compounds and more…

Fischer Tropsch Waxes

Fischer Tropsch is a chemical process for the production of liquid hydrocarbons. Polymers and fuels can be generated by this process which can be either from transformation process of CTL (Coal to Liquid) or GTL (Gas to Liquid). High melting point waxes can be derived by this synthesis. Agrakem FT Waxes ranges from lower melting point grades analogs to Paraffin waxes and high melting points, competing for space in against of PE Waxes.

Polyethylene Waxes

Produced by the polymerization process of the liquid ethylene as well as from Heat-Cracking or byproduct purification methods. Can be used as anti-slipping additives in coatings, dispersing agents in plastic extrusion, rubber compounds, road marking paints, adhesives and others….

Oxidized Polyethylene Waxes

Polar wax, produced by a mild air oxidation of Polyethylene. Specially used within the emulsion industry, PVC extrusion, asphalt modification, powder coating, printing inks as basic examples of its application field.

Micronized Waxes

Waxes with microscopic particle sizes, generally supplied from 5 to 200 microns. Can be used in paints, inks, dispersions and Wood coating and plastics as basic examples. Its characteristics in specific formulations can be as anti-foaming agent, scratch resistance agent, anti-blocking, matting or glossing. Our main reference is the AKMN901, which is a micronized Synthetic wax with low penetration an high melting point, ideal for inks dispersion.

Emulsions

We can Supply bespoke emulsions produced with Oxidized Polyethylene waxes as solid base. Commonly used in post harvest of citrus, Surface cleansing, textil and fabrics coatings and others…Count with us in order to offer the most appropriate solution for your need.
